Aviary is a set of web-based creative image editing tools that teachers and students can use for classroom projects. They include image markup, effects editor and color editor, among others. There are videos, documentation and forums to help you learn to use Aviary. Free registration is required to use these tools.
There are app versions of Aviary available for iPad/iPhone and Android devices with a basic set of special effects. Additional effects require in-app purchases.
