KidsClick is a student-friendly search tool for upper elementary and middle school students. It was designed by librarians to provides a small number of results most suitable to children. Note that it is not designed to be a web filter. So it will not prevent a child from accessing any website permitted by their web browser.
Although KidsClick provides a targeting reading level for each search result, these reading levels are not realistic based on our sampling. This particularly true for grades 3-5. All of the results sampled scored at an 8th grade level or higher.
